Bella Forte - Advanced Youth Strings

Nicholas Newell, Conductor
Mondays 6.15 to 7.15pm

This ensemble comprises our most advanced young string players, primarily in high school, but also some players who’ve finished school and just can’t leave! This is a lively and friendly group which plays classical works, popular arrangements and also high-level repertoire, especially when combining with the BCO, as the two groups’ rehearsals overlap. 4th Grade AMEB minimum is recommended.

Stringendo - Adult String Ensemble

Frances McLeod, Conductor
Mondays 5.15 to 6pm

This ensemble comprises adult early learners and those players re-starting later in life. They enjoy developing their individual and ensemble skills as well as the camaraderie of other like-minded ensemble members. They rehearse and perform a wide range of styles and enjoy performing in community events each year. A sociable and dedicated group who always welcome new members!

Fiddlesticks - Junior Youth Strings

Michelle Stockwell, Conductor
Mondays 4 to 4.45pm

Our youngest players comprise this dynamic and playful ensemble. Most members are in primary school, but there are some older players who want to extend their stay and also younger players who are advanced for their age. To join, at least a year of private instruction is recommended.
