Peter Armstrong
Drums, Guitar

Pete rejoined the Conservatorium in 2016 teaching both drums and guitar. He currently plays in a number of bands including Murray Macs Band, Paul Albert’s Elvis Presley tribute show and The Parsons Sons Jazz Band. Pete specialises in early rock and roll and enjoys teaching students of all ages.

Graeme Hunt
ACOUSTIC, BASS, ELECTRIC

Bathurst and Lithgow campuses

Graeme Hunt has been playing guitar for 30 years, and teaching since 1992.
He joined Mitchell Conservatorium in 2004.
He is currently the guitarist for Sydney jazz funk band “Woodgrey”, which includes vocalist Julia Boehm (“Kaya”) and saxophonist Karen Booth (“Black Crow Band”).
Graeme has been composing and recording music since 1988. His composition “SNAP” was performed at Western Sydney’s Hybrid Waves Cultural Festival. He is currently working on a project with actor/writer Julian Garner (Bell Shakespeare Company).

Graeme teaches guitar at a number of local Bathurst schools and also teaches at both Bathurst and Lithgow campuses of Mitchell Conservatorium.

Dave Webb
ELECTRIC, ACOUSTIC

Dave Webb picked up a guitar in high school and knew he had found his instrument and passion.
He has been writing and performing music in bands since his teens. He was part of a band that were finalists in the Emergenza band competition, performing at the Metro Theatre, and then went on to win “The Guinness Live Thursday” band comp and were flown to Dublin to perform multiple shows at the Guinness Festival.
Dave is one half of popular duo Momentum and has a successful solo career as Dave Webb Music, a live looper and singer. He performs 100 times a year around the state and beyond. He toured the South Island of New Zealand with Momentum’s debut album “Subtitles”.

He has a keen interest in digital production and has a studio of his own, in which he records, produces, mixes and masters.

Most recently he released a collaboration with a MitCon violin student, which reached an International audience of 75,000. His newest solo work is currently being released.

Anna Ossig-Bonanno

Anna Ossig-Bonanno Anna trained in Germany mainly in the Orff-Schulwerk approach. Anna has been teaching at Mitchell Conservatorium in Bathurst since 1992. She initiated Early Childhood Classes at our Lithgow Division for 3 to 9 year olds in 1995, including tuned percussion and recorder. She has prepared children for instrumental demonstration concerts. Anna completed her Bachelor of Education (Primary) at the University of New England in 2003.

Anna teaches recorder and classical guitar and is the Director of Mitchell Conservatorium’s Recorder Ensemble.

Todd Brownlow
BASS

Todd Brownlow has been performing bass for 20 years. He has been a part of local bands in Lithgow and beyond.

He has a Bachelor Degree in Education and worked as a teacher in the Blue Mountains region for many years, before transitioning into teaching music. He completed a Diploma of Music at Central Queensland University and has an energy and passion for making learning enjoyable.

Todd also is an accomplished drummer and teaches drums for MitCon.

James teachers voice, guitar, flute and saxophone at the Forbes Campus of the Mitchell Conservatorium.
